This page documents known issues and current limitations in the RippleCore platform. We’re committed to transparency and want you to know exactly what’s working and what’s coming.
Release Status: The platform is production-ready for core use cases. This page lists features that are planned but not yet implemented, along with known technical limitations.

Consultant App

Trend Analytics Display

Issue: Dashboard trend percentages may show 0% for newly onboarded clients without 30+ days of historical data. Status: ✅ Working as designed (requires historical data) Impact: New consultants see 0% trends until they have 30 days of data Root Cause: Trend calculations compare current 30-day period vs. previous 30-day period. New organizations without 60 days of data will show 0% trends. Workaround:
  • Wait 30 days after client onboarding for accurate trends
  • Manually review absolute numbers (not percentages) for new clients
  • Use benchmarking dashboard for comparative analysis
Note: This is expected behavior, not a bug. Trends require historical data to calculate meaningful percentages.

Bulk Operations

Current State: Bulk operations page UI exists, but CSV upload functionality is incomplete. Status: 🔧 In development (Priority: High) Available:
  • ✅ Bulk export to CSV/JSON
  • ✅ UI interface for bulk invitations
Not Yet Available:
  • ❌ CSV file upload for bulk client invitations
  • ❌ Batch user invitation workflow
  • ❌ Email campaign scheduling
Workaround: Invite clients individually using the “Invite Client” button on the dashboard Expected Completion: v1.1 (2-3 weeks)

Excel/PowerPoint Exports

Issue: Some advanced export formats not yet available. Current State:
  • ✅ Dashboard view (HTML)
  • ✅ CSV export (raw data)
  • ✅ JSON export (API integration)
  • PDF compliance reports (6 frameworks: B-Corp, CSRD, SDGs, Section 172, GRI, ISO 26000)
  • ❌ Excel workbooks
  • ❌ PowerPoint QBR decks
Workaround:
  • For Excel: Use CSV exports and import to Excel
  • For PowerPoint: Use PDF reports or manually create presentations
Planned: Excel workbooks in v1.2 (1-2 months), QBR decks in v2.0 (4-6 months)

Mobile Optimization

Issue: Mobile experience is functional but not fully optimized. Current State: All features work on mobile devices, but the interface is optimized for desktop. Workaround: Use desktop browser for best experience Planned Improvement: v1.3 (2-3 months)

Technical Limitations

TypeScript Build Warnings

Issue: Non-blocking TypeScript warnings related to culori type definitions in theme editor. Status: ⚠️ Known issue Impact: None - application compiles and runs correctly despite warnings Details: The culori library (color conversion) has incomplete TypeScript definitions, causing warnings during build. Runtime functionality is unaffected. Planned Fix: Contribute types to @types/culori or upgrade when types are available

Theme Editor Browser Compatibility

Supported Browsers:
  • ✅ Chrome 90+
  • ✅ Firefox 88+
  • ✅ Safari 14+
  • ✅ Edge 90+
Known Issues:
  • OKLCH color space preview may differ slightly in Safari < 15
  • Color picker performance slower on older browsers
Recommendation: Use latest Chrome or Firefox for theme editing

Planned Features (Not Yet Available)

Documentation Note: Some user guide pages describe planned features. Features marked as “Coming Soon” or “Planned - Phase X” are not yet implemented.

Workarounds & Best Practices

For Consultants

Export Capabilities:
  • ✅ PDF compliance reports available for 6 frameworks
  • ✅ CSV exports for custom analysis
  • ⚠️ For Excel: Export CSV then import to Excel
  • ⚠️ For PowerPoint: Use PDF reports or create manually
Team Collaboration:
  • Use external tools (Notion, Confluence) for knowledge sharing
  • Share credentials carefully for multi-consultant access (not recommended for security)
  • Consider separate consultant accounts for team members
Billing Tracking:
  • Maintain external spreadsheet for commission tracking
  • Contact RippleCore support for billing questions
  • Export client lists to CSV for manual invoice creation

For All Users

Browser Issues:
  • Clear browser cache if experiencing display issues
  • Use incognito/private mode to test authentication problems
  • Update to latest browser version for best experience
Performance:
  • Large portfolios (50+ clients) may load slowly on dashboard
  • Use client search/filter to narrow results
  • Refresh page if data appears stale (cache: 5 minutes)

Include in your report:
  • Browser name and version
  • Account type (Consultant, Company Admin, etc.)
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Expected vs. actual behavior
  • Screenshots or screen recordings (if applicable)

This page is updated with each release:
  • Monthly: New features, bug fixes
  • Weekly: Critical security updates
  • As needed: Documentation corrections
