This guide helps you use RippleCore as an employee. Whether you’re logging acts of kindness, checking into volunteer events, recording donations, or completing wellbeing surveys, everything takes under 30 seconds.
Meet Emma: Marketing manager, hybrid worker, limited time. Needs quick logging, meaningful impact, no training required.

Your First Day

1. Log In

Access RippleCore at your organization’s URL (e.g., app.ripplecore.co.uk/your-company):

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Most organizations use SSO with Google or Microsoft. Just click Sign in with Google/Microsoft and you’re in.

Email + Password

If your organization doesn’t use SSO, sign in with the email invitation you received.

Multi-Organization Users

If you work for multiple companies or are a contractor, you’ll see an organization switcher in the top-right corner.

2. Complete Your Profile (2 minutes)

  • Name and profile photo (optional)
  • Department and role
  • Location and timezone
RippleCore supports 23+ languages. Choose your preferred language for the interface and notifications.
  • Email notifications (weekly summary recommended)
  • Push notifications (optional for mobile)
  • SMS for urgent wellbeing surveys (optional)

Kindness & Recognition Module

Purpose: Track peer recognition and community impact in 15 seconds.

Log a Kindness Act

Navigate to Kindness

Click Kindness in the sidebar or use the quick action button (⌘K on Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows).

Choose Category

  • Peer Recognition: Helped a colleague
  • Community: Volunteered or community service
  • Wellbeing: Supported someone’s mental health

Describe What Happened

Tips:
  • Be specific but brief (1-2 sentences)
  • Mention the recipient’s name if applicable
  • Optional: Add a photo or voice note

Receive Kindness Recognition

When someone logs kindness mentioning you:
  1. You’ll get a notification (email or push)
  2. View the recognition in your Kindness Inbox
  3. Optional: Confirm to increase verification level
  4. See your Ripple Score increase (visible on your profile)

Volunteer Management Module

Purpose: Log community service with GPS/QR verification in 20 seconds.

Navigate to Volunteer in the sidebar to see upcoming opportunities.

  • Skills-based matching: Opportunities matching your skills appear first
  • Location: Filter by distance from your current location
  • Date: Filter by upcoming, this week, this month

View Opportunity Details

  • Title, description, and organizer
  • Date, time, and location (with map)
  • Required skills and max participants
  • Verification level (30-100)

Click Sign Up to register. You’ll get a reminder notification 1 hour before the event.

Check In (GPS/QR Verification)

On-site at the volunteer event:

Open Your Activity

Navigate to VolunteerMy Activities → Select today’s event

Scan QR Code (Level 70)

  • Event organizer displays a QR code
  • Tap Scan QR Code in the app
  • Point camera at QR code
Verification Level 70 achieved (70% audit weight)

Enable GPS (Level 50)

  • Allow location access when prompted
  • App verifies you’re within 100 meters of the event location
Verification Level 50 achieved (50% audit weight)

Confirm Check-In

Tap Check In and you’re logged! ✅
Total Time: 20 seconds (with QR code)

Check Out

When you leave the event:
  1. Open VolunteerMy Activities → Active event
  2. Tap Check Out
  3. Hours automatically calculated from check-in/check-out times
  4. Optional: Add a photo or note about your impact

Donation Tracking Module

Purpose: Record charitable contributions with tax documentation in 25 seconds.

  • Automatic OCR extracts amount and date for verification

  • Toggle Tax-Deductible if applicable
  • Receipt becomes mandatory
  • Donation appears in your year-end tax summary

Multi-Currency Support

RippleCore automatically converts donations to your organization’s base currency:

Converted: $108.50 USD (rate: 1.085)
  • Real-time exchange rates
  • Historical rate locking for tax purposes
  • Year-end summaries in both currencies

Corporate Matching Programs

If your employer offers donation matching:
  1. Log your personal donation
  2. Note “Eligible for corporate match” in the description
  3. HR admin reviews and adds matched amount
  4. Both donations tracked separately for tax purposes

Wellbeing Survey Module

Purpose: Share wellbeing feedback with AI sentiment analysis in 30 seconds.
Important: You can submit a maximum of 12 wellbeing surveys per calendar year. This prevents survey fatigue while maintaining compliance requirements.

When You’ll See a Survey

RippleCore uses AI-orchestrated scheduling to minimize fatigue:
  • Quarterly check-ins: 4 surveys per year (minimum)
  • Event-triggered: After major company changes, reorganizations
  • Crisis detection: If AI detects concerning patterns in your previous responses
  • Emergency override: HR can request an urgent survey (rare)
You control timing: Delay surveys by up to 7 days if you’re busy.

AI Sentiment Analysis

After submission, AI analyzes your responses:
  • Sentiment: Positive, Neutral, or Negative
  • Risk Level: Low, Medium, or High
  • Keywords: Identifies support needs (stress, burnout, workload)
High-risk surveys trigger immediate (confidential) HR notifications for follow-up support. Crisis keywords (depression, suicidal thoughts) trigger emergency protocols.

Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Aggregate reporting only: Your manager sees team averages, never individual responses
  • Encrypted storage: All survey data encrypted at rest
  • PII redaction: AI automatically removes personally identifiable information from comments
  • Access audit trail: You can see who accessed your survey data

Check Your Eligibility

Before requesting a survey:
  1. Navigate to WellbeingSurvey Eligibility
  2. See surveys this year (e.g., “8 of 12 used”)
  3. View next eligible date if you’ve reached the limit

Top-right corner shows your current organization name.

Click to see all organizations you belong to. Select the one you want to work with.

Context Switches

All data (kindness, volunteer, donations, wellbeing) is now scoped to the selected organization.
Important: Evidence logged is always for the active organization. Double-check before logging volunteer hours or donations to ensure they’re credited to the right company.

View your Portfolio Dashboard to see:
  • Total kindness acts across all organizations
  • Total volunteer hours logged
  • Total donations tracked
  • Aggregate Ripple Score

Mobile App Experience

RippleCore is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works on any device:

  • Log 3-5 kindness acts per week
  • Volunteer once per month
  • Confirm kindness acts you receive (boosts verification)
  • Add photos to volunteer activities for Level 90 verification
  • Morning: Review yesterday’s kindness acts
  • Lunch: Log any acts from the morning
  • End of day: Final check before leaving
  • Friday: Weekly reflection on impact created
  • Kindness Streak: 30 days consecutive logging
  • Volunteer Champion: 50+ hours in a year
  • Generous Giver: 12+ donations tracked
  • Wellbeing Advocate: Complete all quarterly surveys

Troubleshooting

Solution:
  • Enable location permissions for RippleCore in device settings
  • Ensure you’re within 100 meters of the event location
  • Check GPS accuracy (must be less than 50 meters)
  • Fallback: Use QR code check-in instead
Solution:
  • Check file size (max 5MB per photo)
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC
  • Use camera compression if available
  • Try uploading after connecting to WiFi
Solution:
  • Check notification settings in RippleCore profile
  • Enable notifications in device settings
  • Check email spam folder for wellbeing surveys
  • Contact HR admin if notifications are still missing
Symptom: “You’ve used 12 of 12 surveys this year”Solution:
